Meet the Geeks was created to meet the need for a software cluster in Northern Arizona in May of 2011. The group’s goals are to facilitate conversations between software and program developers in Flagstaff, AZ. The first meeting of the group was held at the Northern Arizona Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NACET) as a casual lunch. The next lunch meeting of the group occurred on June 29, 2011 and solidified the formation of the group. Meet the Geeks will meet bi-monthly at various bars, restaurants, and more. Currently, meetings are being held at NACET every other month.
